In this video I compare the two most popular weapon lights available today. The Streamlight TLR-1HL and Surefire X300Ultra. After owning these lights for 6 months and using them extensively I'm surprised to say that the TLR1HL has earned a place on our nightstand guns. It is considerably cheaper than the Surefire X300Ultra, offer more lumens, cleaner/brighter light, more spill, better mount and has a strobe function. The only drawback is that unsightly silver ring around the light bezel that Streamlight thinks is cool. I REALLY wanted to like the Surefire as I like their other products, however, for the money you're better off buying two of the TLR1HL's.
