AAC photo contest - May 2007

AAC has offered to help support this board by getting people to participate in something fun and is sponsoring a photo contest.

Here are the rules for this month:

Post a photo in this thread involving a silencer. Get creative. Go for concept, quality, etc. It can even look like an ad. Hot chicks would be good (that is my idea). You must take the photo yourself. It can be any brand silencer.

AAC will judge the winner any way they please. The prize will be different each month, and not announced in advance. Sometimes it might just be a t-shirt, or a $50 AAC gift certificate. Other times it might be a silencer (tax and transfer must be paid by winner).

Limit 5 photo entries per person.

My photo-fu is weak so i'll stay out, but my wife's cousin take very nice pics.

If I submitted them would it qualify, she is not into guns.

ETA: just saw the part about taking pic yourself.

This is a picture taken by Tony Rumore. Its from his thread on subguns talking about this shotgun suppressor he had made by Lage.

Please leave them up, you get the credit for posting them here. We just want more silencer pictures and videos posted here. (Video competition starts next month.) More pictures just make things more interesting. So, for the record...you don't have to post a picture that you have taken in order to win.

I think it is a can of worms to allow people to win with someone else's photo. Someone can just rush to Oleg's sight or my site -- and win with Oleg's photo or my photo -- and then Oleg or I will be pissed off they won just by posting our photo. Let's encourage people to *take* photos. That is the way to get more and more new photos.
