There'd be a lot more if this state was a little more NFA friendly...

Down here near Fort Lewis. NFA only with the military. I'd like to for myself (suppressed) but why when you can't shoot it?

MrGetsome, the plus for you is being so close to Idaho. Its much friendlier there for us, is it not? Any of you guys into building? I build AKs, and I'm working on my first FAL at the moment.

Hello, I'm a retired sub Sailor living in Mason county. I got the sheriff to sign off a form 1 for my first suppressor a few years ago, I am working on #7 now. The sheriff says I am the only one in his county who ever asked him to sign a form 1. He is a Dem, but figured that if the ATF did not me building a can, then they would jsut say no, otherwise it was just fine with him. He is retiring, and another Democrat was elected during the midterm. I still have to see if the new guy will sign forms in the future. I heard that the Kitsap county sheriff does not like to sign.

I've moved since my last post, I live in Maple Valley now, but its still King County. I have no idea of the attitude around here regarding the Form, so I guess I'll just have to find out. I know I have 2 ranges each only a couple miles from my house, maybe I'll be in luck. Went to one of em today with my FAL, an AK, and my bullpup 10/22. Good times.

I live in the Tri Cities about 20 minutes from the Oregon border.

Could be worse I guess.

Local CLEO is cool and signoffs are no problem.

RCW 9.41.250
Dangerous weapons — Penalty.

Every person who:
(3) Uses any contrivance or device for suppressing the noise of any firearm,

is guilty of a gross misdemeanor punishable under chapter 9A.20 RCW.

A gross misdemeanor is punishable by a $1000 fine or 6 months in jail, I'm not ready to risk that.

I live pretty much in the center of Washington state. Travel to Orygun several times a year, just to slaughter sage rats.
Multiple targets + suppressed weapon = Good Times.

I just moved here from Colorado with my toys. The class 3 restrictions suck and I had to give some of my toys up, but I am definitely looking for people to shoot with.

For C 3, you get to go to Oregon. If you like medium-distance rifle shooting, we've got a club range that goes to 600 for organized targetry, and to 1400 byot. Pretty nice range. I'm in Wenatchee, about two and a half hours east of you. Email me if you want to check it out some weekend.

I've heard Gemtech is a little behind on filing orders, something to do with .gov contracts. I ordered a Pilot becuse my dealer had one in stock, and I'm pretty happy with it.
Looking for a .223 can next, thinking YHM or AAC.... but open to suggestions.
How's the pheasant population in Colfax? I might head that way this weekend for a day or two this weekend.

I've had days like that.... Not for a couple of years though. My shorthairs are doing better every year- too bad they are both about 5 years old and in their prime. My last GSP hunted until she was 9 or 10 years old, but got a lot slower and the hunts had to get shorter.
I used to carry 7 1/2 shot over 5 in my O/U but lost a few birds, now I carry 5s in both barrels and rarely lose one. Took my shorthair bitch to North Dakota last October, and she learned a lot. This ought to be a good year in the Columbia Basin, what with all the farmers raising corn for ethanol.
