OPS Inc. 12th Model
I just wanted to get others opinions on the OPS Inc. 12th Model Suppressor. I personally have not come across another system that is as quiet or accurate, I also love that it cleans itself. Has anybody had any experience with them hunting or on their work rifle?

I have one on a MK12 and really like it. Really quiet and love the mounting system. How does it clean itself though?

Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
I'm sure the "self cleaning" aspect doesn't mean that the baffles will remain spotless and shiny new during the suppressor's lifetime (unless it's never shot), but that the design is to limit the amount of buildup and to expel the fouling while shooting. If I was going to fire a substantial amount of ammo through my 5.56 can in a relatively short time, I'd weigh it before and after to see how much weight changed due to buildup even with a "self cleaning" design....but at the moment I'm shooting more pistol than rifle.
Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
Given all factors equall, ie barrel length, action type, ammo ect the OPS Inc 12th model
has proven to be (in my opinion) the quietest mass produced .22 centerfire can currently
on the market.
Accuracy is very good, but others I have shot have matched the 12th in this area.
YMMV

Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
I have always thought a 3rd model(no brake) had a slight edge in accuracy but then i shoot like I trype.
Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
Love mine.
Serious half minute gun, and the first can I've shot that does make groups a tiny bit smaller.

Late to the NFA party, but makin' up for lost time....
Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
Is the OPS 12th really a lot better. I am just hesitant to machine my barrels back that far on my bolt guns.
Re: OPS Inc. 12th Model
Is the 12th model that much better? Hell and Yes! I own 2, one in 556 and one in 762. I have ran the 556 on my SPR in combat and liked it so much, I bought one. They are not AS durable as say the AAC or Surefire can's for something like auto fire, but for a bolt gun / prescision gas gun, they are the HEAT! On a bolt gun with sub-sonic ammo, they are like a damn pellet gun. If you are looking for a great can at a really good price, the 12th will do nothing but impress ya!
