Well I must say, it has been quite awhile since I was this impressed with an unsuppressed to suppressed sound signature change in a centerfire rifle cartridge. Not to mention the felt reduced recoil. This 338 Lapua was a joy to shoot without ears and I would love to spend a day in the vast open west shooting all day, if I could only afford it! I hope you enjoy the review. I've been trying to edit the videos shorter due to our ever reducing attention span ;)

A typical video distorts the sound so much that the noise reduction just does not sound so impressive. One needs to be there to appreciate how well they work. I shot my 338 ultra mag with a form 1 can against a 338 lapua with a Thunderbeast can; mine was nearly as good at noise reduction. My $80 can weighed more than the $1800 Thunderbeast though.

While some people are not so impressed with a typical suppressed AR-15 in 5.56, so far everyone I've seen observing a large 338 magnum is always impressed.

Was there any noticeable POI shift? I like to rotate on occasion from my "loudener" (muzzle brake) to suppressor. I also remove my suppressors to fit them in the safe.

Thank you
