Video:Silencerco Octane45K

Post by Fireman1291 »

Well I finally got the video done. Sorry it took so long! I was waiting until I got some footage of the IGFS custom G17, Beretta 92FS Compact and the MP5. I must say I really like this can. It sounds just fine with 9mm though the 45acp endcap. I filmed both caps (9 and 45) and the onscreen tone was so negligible I decided to leave it out so the video didn't drag on. Your feedback is appreciated!

Another good review.

What ammo were you using in the 9 and the 22?

s--t! I knew I forgot those Titles! I was using Freedom Munitions HUSH ammo 147grn. And the 22 ammo was CCi standard velocity.

Didn't know about the Harvester fixed mount being compatible with Octanes. That's awesome.

I like the versatility of this can. I need a 9mm can with the possibility of using it on a 45 later on. Can you describe what happens to the sound when you add water? On some points it has the same tone but quieter. I'm not sure how to describe it but it's good. Hell, dry shooting sounds great! Just curious. It sounds like the water softens the tone. It definitely makes it more palatable to the ear.

Maybe it's just the cycling of the action that I hear. Water can't make that quiet. Or can it? Pun intended.

My Form 3 is in process on my Octane 45K!

I can't wait to have my third can to round out my collection...

SiCo Omega 7.62 (On my Gun)
TacSol Axiom 22/5.7 (Pending Stamp)
SiCo Octane 45K (Form 3 Pending)

These three will run on virtually any gun I own, or may own later... (I'm all 9mm pistols now)
