It takes 32 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, but only 3 for a proper trigger pull.

Re: B & T Silencers
They can only be imported for LE/Govment/LE/Govment Dealer use.
NFA shooters blow their load with only one pull of the trigger.
Re: B & T Silencers
Who is licensed to make them domestically (in the USA ).

Re: B & T Silencers
I have some. Some are good but not as good as the best USA cans so there is no need to be envious if you cannot get one.
Re: B & T Silencers
DSA makes the Rotex can for the TP9. There was also a company who I think licensed the Impulse can design, and then continued to make it later too......... the name of the company escapes me at the moment.....Sid Post wrote:Who is licensed to make them domestically (in the USA ).

I have 3 of the ImpulsIIA's, 1 in 45 and 2 in 9mm. The 45 is a bit louder than others, but the 9mm's are pretty impressive. Wet they're hollywood quiet. I'll do a movie later of one side by side to an 9Osprey and MM.

Re: B & T Silencers
I have an Impuls-IIA and a TiRant both in 45.
The CCF blows compared to the Ti-Rant. No comparison. The Ti-Rant is lighter, (significantly) quieter, and has better sounding tone.

Re: B & T Silencers
No doubt about the 45's, it's the 9 that I was impressed with.
Re: B & T Silencers
The CCF/Swiss Impuls II A in 9mm was my first suppressor. I bought it for my Walther P99 Euro version because it was as close to the B&T that I could get here in the US.
I have since purchased the Trident-9.
Fired dry SxS on the same host with the same ammo, they are about equal in sound quality.
Wet, I have to say that the Trident-9 has the edge but not by much.
All of this is with my less than stellar hearing but it's an equal test none the less.

Re: B & T Silencers
I have an actual B&T 9mm. My impression is that it is pretty good and I would be ok using it, but not really on the same level as AAC. But if it was all I could get, I would probably not mind that much.
Re: B & T Silencers
I have a couple Impuls II-As in .40.
I'm going to see how they perform next to the .40 Osprey when it comes in.
I don;t have high expectations. The Ospreys are pretty hard to beat.
