I'm still learning here.
Having both a 300 Win Mag and .308s....
Dumb question; how well would the Titan work on a .308 (bolt or semi)?
And/or would there be better options for the .308 also?

A .30 Mag can will likely be slightly better on a .308 depending on how it was designed (likely has an extra baffle). The only negative about a .30mag on a .308 is weight / length differences.

I have a stainless SRT. It is a very good can but it is heavy. If you are slung and shooting movers or multiples it creates a lot of momentum on the T1 to T2... transition. It also radically changes the neutral balance point of the weapon. Aside from that - I dig it.

I have a Thunderbeast 30P-1 and I run it on my .300WM and my .308. The can is relatively light so you see less of a POI shift if any at all. I have been running a very HOT load pushing 210 Berger VLD's at 2975 FPS (CED M2 chrono) with RE22 and the can has no issues.
