We've got a batch of Prodigys on order from AAC that'll be here as soon as the Form 3 to us is approved!

Gimme a call (918-808-3661) or shoot me a PM if you'd like to get one at our discounted price. :P

hey Major, I sent you a p/m like a week back titled "Call Me asap" but we ended up speaking on the phone about it, but if you get a chance can you read it and shoot me a p/m to confirm that we have everything straight including the prodigy order. Thanks. I know you were a little busy then, but it seems like you are back in action now

I asked Mike about 'em last week - the Remington purchase has put everything in a holding pattern for a bit. They're bringing new systems online (ordering, inventory, etc.) and they can't submit Form 3s or ship until everything gets updated.

Bottom line - not sure exactly when they'll ship to us, but I do know that Mike has our order in and will get 'em to us as soon as possible. :P

I talked to Mike Mers on Friday - AAC still can't bill dealers or ship, due to the Remington swap over to new systems. He did say it should be squared away soon, though.

have you heard any new info on these and/or the TiRant .45s?

Yes sir!

Spoke w/ Mike yesterday and AAC is in "prep for SHOT Show" mode right now. As soon as they get back from SHOT, they are supposed to ship everything out (they want to get everthing out before the more to the new, mo' bigguh facility).

Once again, very sorry for the wait - but they'll be worth it! :P

Maj,
All my .22 cans are "low budget cans" TAC 65 and Thomp. Machine. I want to get a high end can but am torn between the Element, New core prodigy and Spectre. I have numerous rifle and pistol hosts. What say the "expert"

I have an Element and a Spectre but can't comment on the Prodigy.
Depends on what you are going to use it for.
I have use the Spectre for full auto and 5.7 and the Element for everything else. I like the knurled base on the Spectre better than the way the Element is put together. I feel like there is something substantial to grab onto when I am taking the can off.
They are both great cans.
Just my 2 cents.

Ric,

Every customers has different criteria of what "good" is, so I'd really have to talk to you on the phone to really be able to figure out which one best suits your needs.

But here's a "roll-up" of each can's qualities:

Element (this can offers the best of everything, except price):
-top notch sound reduction
-made of stainless steel, so very durable
-light weight, a little over 4 oz.
-pusher tool available to help get the baffle stack out

NEGATIVES: highest prices

Prodigy (aluminum, monolithic core):
-top notch sound reduction
-monolithic core
-light weight, a little over 4 oz.

NEGATIVES: No pusher tool available to help get it apart / aluminum construction (you can't be as aggressive as you can on SS when cleaning).

Spectre (the "tank" of .22 cans and our best selling .22 suppressor):
-top notch sound reduction
-made of stainless steel, so very durable
-lowest price of the three
-pusher tool INCLUDED with the can

NEGATIVES: heaviest can of the bunch, over 8 oz.
