i'm switching barrels on my savage and don't need the stock one. it comes from the factory threaded with a thread protector. will shoot one inch groups without a problem. very very accurate.

i looked at savage's website, couldn't find what material it consist of but i did find its a 20" with a 1-9 twist.

It's either chrome-molybdenum (blued) or stainless steel.
