I've got a Winchester 1200 that I think is pretty old, it has a 6 digit serial number 304*** . Had it around 22 years, and never hunted with it, but I have shot it a lot with zero issues.
I've got a few SBR's, but no short barrel shotgun. I've heard the wait times are back around 5 months, and thought it would be a good time to send off a couple few form 1's.
Question....Think the Winchester is stamp worthy, or should I look for an older Remington 870 Wingmaster to stamp. I know most people have 870's and Mossberg 500's...not interested in Mossberg at all.

Re: Winchester 1200
IMHO, while making a SBR out of an old Win 1200 would be old school cool, it would hurt me to do so. Rem 870 would be/has been, my preference. If you decide to change configuration with a different length barrel it will be less expensive.
