9mm 231 load needed

Be careful -- low-volume ratio loads can detonate. Mangement not responsible for load data. Use at your own risk.

Anyone have a good subsonic 9 load using 231 and 147 cmj?

I have tested Winchester 231 with 147gr projectiles.
Starting load for me was 3.4gr, ending with 3.9 gr.
OAL for my truncated cone FMJ bullets (similar in bullet length to hollow points) was 1.12.
I typically run 3.8-3.9 gr and it cycles everything I own (ar15 SBR, glocks, P229, STI 2011, etc.)

I have shot it in a mixed magazine with Special-K and we could not tell the difference. Very quiet load.

I have also used this same load with plated bullets, same load. With the plated, you are supposed to drop the charge, but I ended up In The same place after testing (3.8gr)

I also use w231 for subsonic plated and lead, 3.6-3.8 grains, 3.6 is around 850 fps as I recall, but cycles my sig p229 and m11/9 (albeit really slowly with lage upper). 3.8 is where I load to. Super quiet as well.
Stupid, stupid NFA items.
