Tin Star for subsonic 7.62x39 loads?

Be careful -- low-volume ratio loads can detonate. Mangement not responsible for load data. Use at your own risk.

Tin Star for subsonic 7.62x39 loads?

Post by FrankFisher »

Hi, has anyone used Tin Star with heavy bullets, eg 200gn lead, for subsonic loads? I will be using them in a Ruger American Ranch rifle, bolt, so no need to cycle. It's a powder I have to hand and would seem to be a good choice but I can find no load data in this cartridge.

If you'd be willing to share I'd love to know what you have cooked up that you like. My buddy and I are contemplating reloading x39. Atomic makes great stuff and the Sierra Match King 220 is great. More specifically if you have any #'s on cost per round you have it down to that'd be awesome. Thanks
