How does it chamber a new round, yet close on a spent case?
What rifle configuration and silencer are you using? I've never had a function problem with my issue-length barrel and HVT silencer combination.

like said, it only happend on the first 3 rounds. gas system was nice and dry, i was running ADI 7.62x51.
i was only able to put 5 rounds through it to test function.
think i need to take a variety of ammo out and do some more extensive runs with it, see if i can duplicate the problem.

What do you mean by the gas system being nice and dry?
They do not require or want oil, grease only and the gas system gets nothing.

The M14 runs on grease, but the gas piston, gas cylinder and gas plug are left bone dry.Sigproshooter wrote:What do you mean by the gas system being nice and dry?

You can put a tiny dab of grease on the threads of the gas plug to help with removal.

The thread adapters from SEI & Delta P have been known to cause baffle strikes.Iceman755 wrote:So is there any way you can get away with a direct thread on with just the thread adapter and plug from Sei
We make a thread adapter that screws directly to the barrel (as it should) that will prevent any baffle strikes.
