SW MP 22 Pistol

Post by 8th SPS USAF »

I am looking for a thread adapter for my MP 22 pistol that I am getting in the near future.
I have a YHM Mite and don't know thread size. Help finding one would be great. You folks have always helped me in the pass. Been gone awhile with the big C and now chemo.

i *think* it is the same threads as a Walther P22. i'll check my adapter after work, unless someone else posts the answer.

ok, after work, i re-read your post....

in order for your pistol to work with you Mite, you will need a thread adapter. it will change the threading to 1/2x28 TPI. all 22 caliber firearms should be 1/2x28 TPI. i got this: http://www.tacticalinc.com/sw-mp22-adapter-p-2579.html

I have a M&P22 and a Walther P22, and I have a Yankee Hill Mite as well.

The adapter is the same.
M8 x .75 to 1/2 -28 thread adapter

Gemtech offers the best one

I have found the P22 adapters on Ebay are a few bucks less, and work & fit equally as well, not as good as quality

Do not buy the adapter for a GSG 1911 - its totally different.
