States with Bills submitted

Does anyone know exactly how many and which States have bills in their congresses to change the hunting laws. So that they may be used to hunt with. Just bills related to hunting not ownership. Anything just submitted or in the prosess of being voted on. I would like this information to help Ohio get its law changed.

Good link but I think North Carolina has submitted a bill and it is not mentioned. Are there others just resently submitted?

So why don't you tell us which bills you already know about?

ETA: From what I can tell the NC bill is doomed or at least paradoxical unless G.S. 14‑288.8.c.3 is also amended.

I knew about the ones on the NRA-ILA web site. But I did not know about NC. Are there others that just resently submitted bills that have not hit the main stream media yet. I am asking anybody in any states that may be starting the process.

Why just newly submitted bills? Use Pa. as an example, we're right next door and hunting with a silencer has been legal for years.

There was one in GA but there was also two other gun bills. One made it illegal to publish CCw info ala newyork(it passed) and another one for church and collage carry the pro gin lobby (ga carry.org) fought for that one and the hunting with silencer went nowhere.

I am also not exactly sure how only the recent, undetermined, efforts would be of more help as an example than looking at those states where the laws have already been successfully changed.

But then I also don't understand how collecting new bills from random states like pokemon cards is really going to help since they're all going to be a little different depending on what laws already exist. NC is an example of the ineptitude of it's own lawmakers to fully understand existing statutes before trying to change them.

It seems much more logical to me if you want to change the hunting laws in Ohio that you should look at past examples of successful changes to hunting laws in Ohio and not bills in process from random states. The hunting laws and regulations in Ohio change every year, there's probably a pretty well worn process for making changes.

The reason I want recently submitted bills is because the list of States allowing hunting with suppressors is available but not a list of the ones currently trying to change. There is a good article in Predator Xtreme April 2013 about hunting with suppressors. They list all the States that allow hunting and all the ones that do not allow hunting with suppressors, at the time of publishing. There is no mention of pending bills. To have all this information would show a trend. I want as much information as possible so that when the bill in Ohio is presented it will be easier to get it passed. Simply put if your State is trying to change the laws let me know.

Ah, so you want a list of the pending bills that have not yet passed so you can use the list as peer pressure against legislators in Ohio who may be resistant to passing similar legislation.

Wouldn't you also want to know when it was made legal in the states where it was previously not legal if you're trying to establish a trend?

By the way, the list is incorrect or not up to date since Wyoming will be legal for all types of hunting soon.

Again please anyone else that knows something let me know which States are thinking about changing their laws. If you have nothing constructive to give me please don't waste everyone's time by posting just to hear yourself talk. It is a very simple request.

I thought the news about Wyoming was constructive based on the list you referenced from your predator magazine which had it listed as a "No".

I also looked up the status of suppressors for hunting in several other states simply by googling and browsing the parks and wildlife websites of each of those states. But since you won't share what information you already have and you didn't seem interested in the news about Wyoming I'm not sure if you'll find it useful.

Good luck.
