NFA Branch doubled staff?

I was reading the Facebook page of a local dealer and he said that the NFA has recently doubled their staff and that wait times should be dropping; has anyone else heard this?

He said in a comment: "The ATF just doubled the number of Examiners at the NFA branch so times will be improving very soon."

I would only believe it if the ATF put out a press release or something like that publicly confirming it themselves. Maybe the guy is just trying to stimulate business?

But it sure would be nice, I've got 5 cans all in some stage of the process and expect my waits on them to range from a 4-5 months to at least another 16-18 based on some of the wait times folks are hearing. ouch.

The ATF does not lie. They may change the rules, alter the definitions, tell half-truths, manipulate data, inject false-premises, use logical fallacies, lie, deflect, project or wait until you forgot the original subject, but they do not do that other thing you tried to claim.

I was told they are running around 9 months to be approved when I called last week(?). I assume that's 9 months from pending.

ATF "ENFORCEMENT Officers," NOT "Administrative Review (Approval) Agents."
It's in the Regime's interest to round up all the naughty "Gun Freaks", not to allow free excercise of Constitutional Rights.

Imagine that. A Totalitarian Gov't that is quick to take your money, yet somehow slow to do their job.
I sure wish that the Gov't had to file countless forms and pay for several applications, then wait for years for OUR response as to whether the Administrative Rules WE institute decide when/if to send them taxes. Then make THEM pay for US to hire Attorneys to drag our feet. Finally deciding that Sovereign Immunity keeps us from having to send them anything, let alone an answer for our actions.
