State AGs for National CCW Reciprocity Act

The Arkansas Attorney General has joined with 24 other State AGs to lobby (joint letter) Congress for passage of the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
In addition to Arkansas, the states of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming signed the letter.
This is a big deal, with 25 States so far, throwing their weight behind "passage for National CCW Reciprocity". Congresscritters do pay attention to what their States want.

I'm certain my democrat state AG, son of the former governor, would never sign asking to support it, despite 90% of the citizens of the state would.

But don't be surprised if a bunch of poison pill amendments aren't added later, so be careful of what you wish for. It may become a trap.
I don't care what your chart says

+1

A move toward strengthening federal gun control in concealed carry clothing.

One stop shopping for "sweeping gun control legislation".

I'm aware that the statists want to combine their Fix-NICS to the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.

That Fix-NICS bill does some benign things, but also has some terrible pro-gun-control elements to it, the intention which is to take away 2A rights from as many people as possible (according to Gun Owners of America). Fix-NICS would add the category of all those with outstanding warrants to NICS to prevent them from buying a gun. The biggest category of outstanding warrants is unpaid parking tickets. It's even possible that Fix-NICS could cause people to lose their ability to buy a gun because of an unpaid library fine for a book returned late.

Fix-NICS as is, would be a poison pill to the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
