Gunowners from other States, who have self-defense coverage, will not be covered for self-defense incidents which take place in New York and New Jersey if they travel there.
Yet another great self-defense "insurance" business has been banished by New York and New Jersey bureaucrats, with other states looking to do the same soon. This affects us all and is important to you whether you live in one of those states or not. Here’s why:
CCW Safe, a long-time Law of Self Defense partner, has been compelled to stop offering membership plans in New York and New Jersey, and also won't be able to cover members from other states who defend themselves in New York and New Jersey. Other states may also follow suit, putting your access to an affordable defense in jeopardy.
Until now, CCW Safe has been one of the last of these programs still providing coverage in all 50 states. Sadly, now even they are being forced to step back from states that falsely describe these perfectly legitimate programs as "murder insurance." CCW Safe competitor USCCA has also been compelled to exit these states, and of course these kinds of anti-self-defense efforts contributed to the utter demise of the NRA's Carry Guard Program.
