OK lady, drop that chore boy and back up slowly from the sink with your hands up.

...you've got to be fucking kidding me. Seriously? I can't COUNT how many of those I see in everyone's home, more or less.

EDIT: Oh. All the letter says is that you can't have packing material laying around with the intent to use it in a silencer unless you're a manufacturer of NFA items such as a type 7 with 02 SOT paid. Makes sense.

Wouldn't that conversation be amusing:

"Sir, what is the intent of these bronze wool cleaning pads?"

"Uuumm, is this a trick question?"

"This inquiry is serious, sir. Please answer the question."

"If you are serious, then I am intending for you to clean my oven."

So, what changed? Don't see anything new. Could not have those componets before and still can't unless you have secured the required paper. A rose is still a rose, except when its intent is use in a ....fill in the blank. Of course, I'm new to this stuff...but I can read.

So, if you have an old can you can't dump the rattling eyelets and pack it with fresh chore boy? Aparently the lowly unlicensed aren't competant to pack a freakin muffler.

I wonder if that's something else ol' Ciener will get nailed for. He used to sell eyelets with his integral silencer kits, no?

None of this would've happened if someone would've just replaced the material and just STFU about it.

Seriously, no one would have ever known. I just don't get it.....

Some people do 54 in a 55. I personally don't F--k around with laws about NFA stuff, the fine for replacing that mesh if SOMEONE even ONE PERSON was able to find out you did it would be too harsh...
