Hunting with suppressor?

Post by Prevaler30 »

Is it legal to hunt in PA with a suppressor? I can't find anything on this saying you can't.

Yes, it is. In fact I set up my Remington 788 in 308 to take my Sandstorm for my Granddaughter to hunt with.

I'm a little late but just wanted to parrot what was already stated...Yes, it is perfectly legal.

I had my Rem 700 LTR threaded this year specifically to hunt suppressed wth my 762SDN-6. Whacked two deer on the opening day...what an awesome way to hunt; no more having to scramble for ear plugs or damage the hearing.

That's the only negative on firearm laws in VT. Suppressor's are a no go. I spoke with an official about the state's stance and it stems from the fear of excessive poaching. They should have NFA friendly realtor's. Too bad, VT seemed like a good place to live.
