Just like the title says, anyone know where I can get the new AAC 9 inch upper with the 1:7 twist?

Know of a retail store in Texas that had a couple 9" and 12" 300 BLK AAC in stock just the other day. They were only asking retail $1080? rings a bell. A buddy purchased one and was happy to pay regular sticker price. PM me if your interested in purchasing via Texas.

Did the one you got from Bullseye have the 1:7 twist rate or is it the older 1:8? I don't plan to reload BLK for a while and will mainly use Remington Subs for my ammo choice... Am I going to be OK with an older 1:8 twist rate?

Not really sure why the change . . . I've never seen any groups that were any different between the two.

I've never shot 300blk with a bolt gun on a bench rest so can't really say for sure but having shot a 1:8" in a 9" and a 1:7 on a 16" I never noticed a difference.

I just checked their site... Even the non-LE page gives the impression they don't want to talk to you if you don't have a badge.

Not to worry - I also couldn't figure out where to find this even if they did want to talk to me.

Think they'd be any friendlier than their site if I called them?

I don'y pay any attention to there web page. Infact, putting one together as we speak. There is a police side and a commercial side. I don't think they advertise class III, but call and ask for Matt. Keep alot of stuff in stock.
