Using water in a rifle silencer ??
So I seen a video on YouTube and the guy had a AAC 7.62sd and he said he ran it wet. Is this safe ? Is it bad on the silencer? I have the sr7 and I wouldn't wanna do anything that could cause damage to me or the silencer or cause corrosion.

Gemtech says that can blow up a can.
I once fired an AAC 5.56mm can full of water. It was ok, but I think it is considered potentially dangerous. If you get water in it, shake it out.

Is it more quiet with water like a pistol supressor?

Re: Using water in a rifle silencer ??
We have seen rifle cans blow up from too much water in them. If you get water in it, shake it out. I would highly advise not trying to run it wet. It does almost nothing for sound.
