New Muzzle Brake Mounts

Post by silentobsession »

When are we going to be able to see some pics of these new mounts? Also, which silencers are they initially going to be available for? Lastly, what is the MSRP going to be? I think I read $149 somewhere, but I don't remember where.

Thanks.

Look in the magpul section, the badassness thread.
There are some pics of an AR with the comp on it.

I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.

I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

We have plans to make an 18 tooth Muzzle Brake. I just don't have a time line for that right now...

Are the brakes for the M4-2000 available right now? If so, from where? Can we order direct? If so, I'm calling today.

Thanks.

Going a little more discrete here due to some of my opinions...

Do the "baffles" of the muzzle brake add even more sound reduction? Have you guys tested the difference in suppressed spl for a blackout fh vs. the new brake (using same can)?

Will this new brake take more of the "blast" then the flash hider does and increase the service life of the can?

We certainly hope that is the case. Not real data on this yet, but we hope it will increase the silencers service life.

She is starting to put me to shame. I will have to console myself with us both having cool watermarks.
