New promotion idea.

New promotion idea.
I think it would be a great idea to include a Free dis assembly tool with the first 100 Elements.

Nope...they did not give away "everything". The Tattoo promotion was great PR. Complimentary Element tools would cost them much less than 250 cans. It would be great PR...."Yes the Element costs more than a Spectre, but it weighs half as much and comes with a Tool."

How about "...the Element is half the weight of the Spectre, about an inch shorter, and quieter..." at no extra charge?Bobo wrote:Nope...they did not give away "everything". An obstacle course?Stu wrote:How about a contest where all the silencer manufactures compete in some event, and whoever wins, we just send them money, and don't expect anything back? Sounds fair to me considering what they just did.

It seems to me that generally when a much anticipated new product hits the market the first few runs command a premium price over the subsequent runs.
I guess it would make sense to give away a free pusher tool to generate interest in a new unproven silencer or if the silencers were not selling, but I don't think the element really falls in that category.
Why do you think the first 100 should come with a free tool when the cans perfomance has already been demonstrated?

Man,that is an understatement!
You can make one million parts and have a 1 PPM defect rate.
Guess which one and the only one you will hear about?
Along with material costs, manufacturing time, quality concerns, delivery time, JIT or inventory levels and the coffee machine stopped working and call someone to get it fixed.......
