I don't follow arfcom, but man, that guy must have an incredibly abrasive personality, you hear what a douche he is just about everwhere else.

Will you give us a link or provides some context?

The statement is funny enough on its own, but my experience with LaRue is that they have no room to talk.

Wonder if they're thinking about entering the suppressor biz?

The guy has some kind of psychiatric disorder, I'm virtually convinced. He has this pathological need to stir s--t up wherever he goes.

Here's the link. It may have been that I recommended a mount other than LaRue that ticked him off!

And then you backpedaled,

Mark Larue has admitted that he is a internet drama queen.

Guy's addicted to flame wars or something.
I think AAC is equally as nutty as you, man! I don't get free s--t from anyone to promote product. So if those dicks at AAC want to play dodge ball while thier website sits unfinished for the upteenth month, I'll call the nonsense out!
I thought the website was done? I ordered a few silly T-shirts to offend Seattle-ites with. The Lady Liberty Tee got me many a strange look at Trivia night, lol

Having met Mark Larue I can tell you he is a pistol BUT he also an accomodating, friendly and motivated individual. He does enjoy a good squable between companies and some it seams he has a down right disdain for. From the outside looking in, the rest of the planet thinks us Texans are a bunch of war mungering, headstrong cowboys.
These inter industry squables arent only in this arena but are hot and heavy with the barrel makers, stock makers, shotgun accessory manufatures ect. As told by a custom gunsmith, "This firearms industry is a hoot, you wouldnt believe the drama".
I'm not sure what the bad blood is between Larue and AAC is but from a buisness owners standpoint I like the way Larue handles his operations.
I also like the way AAC touts their manufacturing process and quality.

Both companies products easliy speak for themselves but the added s--t talk makes it interesting.

It's just a damn good thing he makes such excellent and unequalled products. And his many gifts to our soldiers earns him a ton of slack in my books.

QFT.

Larue is a douche.

I have been buying Aimpoints on other boards and whenever they come with a Larue mount, I refuse to buy the red dot + mount combo.

I don't have any beef with LaRue. I have no idea why he came after me.

either it was.

1. I recommended the Wilcox mount, or

2. A long time ago I posted that I wanted to go to SHOT just to see him hauled off in a straight jacket.

You know having never met Mark I think he makes a hell of a product. I just think him as a person is a bit ... well off to put it nicely. BUT I must admit that I love to poke him with a stick whenever I can get the chance since its really easy to get a rise out of him.

Though I do think he's bit abrasive, it doesn't stop me from buying his products only due to his high quality mounts, support for the troops, and dillo dust.

Too bad about the bad blood. AAC and LaRue both make outstanding products.
