Mike,
Will AAC sell the TiRant with the 3lug piston as a set?

When do you think you would get a outcome on the 3lug piston being a sellable adapter?

Thanks.

I just got email from a distributor that AAC will be producing the TiRant 3 lug adapter in March.. If this is true, then sounds like everything is moving forward. :D

i'm not trying to cut them slack on a product that was announced 2/3 years ago, but "producing in March" doesn't mean ready to buy on Sat, mar 1. You'll be lucky if they are machined in March, maybe finished and QC'd end of the month, maybe end of April by the time they make it through the distribution chain.

The news is as follows

We have tested this and it works 100% (no surprise). We are now making parts.

once all parts are made we will launch this adapter.

Sorry for the delays.... all of them

This is great news! :D I've been waiting for this for a very long time.

So now that it's "in production" - how long before it shows up on the website and is available to purchase or pre-order?

Ok, Mike...

We are close to the end of march, so as my daughter would say... "Make with the pony!"

:D

Where will these be listed for sale? How can I be the first kid on my block to get one?

Would the 3 lug be the best mount for running a Ti-rant 9 on a 9mm AR

I use a thread on Ti-Rant. No problems.

Nice! I assume your threads are cut down? I have a 6951 with factory threads and was trying to find out if they are to long. I don't have a 1/2x36 piston yet.

My 9mm AR has a 5" green mountain(?) barrel. The Ti-Rant suppressor seats on the barrel shoulder. I don't use the piston on the AR... at least as a piston. Replace the spring with the hard spacer.

Probably the same thing my Glock-pattern 9mm AR needs. 8)
I ordered a 1/2 x 28 tri-lug adapter from HK Parts. It looks a lot better on an MP5 than a AR style rifle. Now I just need a quick attach adapter for my Ti-Rant 9.

My barrel has the lugs milled into it. I don't need that adapter in your picture.
I need AAC to send me the adapter that screws into the back of my tirant .45.
So it'll go on said barrel.

Come on Mers - give us an update! You tease it and then leave us hanging for six weeks.
...then again, we've been waiting for a TiRant tri-lug adapter for how many years now? I shouldn't be surprised.

We have some parts made and are waiting for machine time to make the others.

I am working this in between all of the SR-5 and SR-7 parts so it is taking longer than I thought.

again, sorry for the delays
