How will this affect continued sales and industry relationships between AAC and HK/416-SD, FNH/SCAR-SD & SCAR-H SD? Will AAC continue to develop new products with other firearm manufacturers?

Hopefully the news is all of the BFL cans have shipped!

Or at the least hopefully my dealer will call and say one of the 46 SCAR-H SD's AAC shipped out the other day is mine.

I suspect this may be it.

I hope so, anyway!

Me too.

If not shipped, maybe they are all in production and will be
shipped by the end of the month.

That would be awesome news.

US gun maker arming Wii shooter game

Post by Armorer-at-Law »

Remington has licensed a Wii game called "Remington Great American Bird Hunt." http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/ar ... Fk_vJg1VGg

From the article:
US-based Remington is renowned for shotguns, rifles and ammunition.
It seems to me, what Remington needs now is a handgun line. Any nominations?

It's hard to see the US made pistol market as not being saturated already. How many more 1911's, poly framed DAO's, and K/N frame revolvers can there be? There really isn't much room for new direction to go unless the HK P7 patent expires and they want to do that. About the only real frontier in firearms right now is suppressors, everything else is more of the same.

There is a P7 patent? What number? The P7 is my favorite pistol.

Good point.

I've hear it said that if Franklin, Einstein, and JMB were alive today the first two would be walking around in fascination with all we have accomplished, but Browning would ask why we haven't accomplished anything since his death.

I'm guessing it must be patented for nobody else to be making them. Is there another reason nobody else is cloning the design? Everyone's making 1911's and there's been a lot of Hi Power iterations, God knows there's tons of AR's and AK's out there made by everyone and their mother, but never once have I seen the P7 made by anyone else yet with concealed carry licenses up nearly everywhere and used PSP's selling for $700 and M13's and M10's at ungodly prices you'd think someone would want to crank them out.
