Wire Lube and Cleaning
I have an Evo-9 and I read others use a type of wire lube for shooting wet. What wire lube do I use or what is best to use for shooting wet? Where exactly do I put the lube and more important....what is the best way to clean the Evo-9...especially after shooting wet?

I use the Ideal brand "clear glide" wire pulling gel. Stay away from yellow colored wire pull gel as it contains wax and it will harden on your baffels. Stick with water based clear gel. Squirt a tablespoon down the end cap, slap around on your palm to clear the gel from the bullet path. It should last 50rds or more.
To clean I run super hot tap water in the can, shake around. Shake all the water out, and then spray the inside with WD40 to displace the water so you dont corrode the aluminum. Store in safe and its ready to go.

WD-40 is good to go... what makes you say that?dbwebbsr wrote:I thought WD-40 was a no-no when it came to supressors?
