Ace of spades themed skull and crossed M4s... I feel like I've seen something similar.

Crap, now I need to find a new VFG!!! I really liked the modularity of the Troy without the air of superiority of the LaRue and the freaking dildo that is the Tango Down.

Not a bad idea. I just picked up a Trijicon TR24G and the Triji Bobro mount and it' pretty slick.

I've got a Bobro extended mount for my accupoint and their VFG on my Recce build. I love their gear and hope they come out with more bipods soon. Whenever I get an aimpoint it'll be going on one of their mounts.

that logo just makes me think that all of their stuff might be ripped off designs

they would be better off without a logo than to steal someone elses

Troy makes great BUIS, I'll be buying some.

That being said.

http://store.troyind.com/category_s/146.htm

Their Enhanced Trigger Guard is similar to a Magpul Product,

http://store.troyind.com/category_s/152.htm

Their Ambi-Bolt Release is pretty damn close to a BAD.

... and with their new Battle Mag, I'm sure they're competing with the other leading polymer magazine manufacturer... Magpul.

So we shall see.

At some point, designs are going to be redundant.

Their ambi-magazine release and ambi-dexterous selector switch seem to be genuinely different designs.

But, there's also been enough Bolt Catch designs out there, I don't know that Magpul was the first with the idea or not, but there are certainly people jumping on that band wagon.

ETA: and also, after I saw a broken either LMT or Colt bolt catch after having either a BAD or BAD like device, I'm hesitant to to use one... though I do need a left handed solution (A real left handed solution... not just something that you can have to rig, figure out how to use in such a way it wasn't designed) for one.

Sorry didn't mean to go off on a rant.

Damn... Just Damn.

Do they think no other manufacturer views their site?

Now given Front Towards Enemy isn't copy righted (I don't think...), that's... that's bad.

Doesn't a claymore say "front toward enemy"? I'm not making the connection between their claymore model muzzle brake and AAC's silencers. Is it because AAC was the first to use that phrase on a gun?

The Battle Mag doesn't look substantially like the P-Mag to me, other than being polymer. The logo, however, is more than similar.

True, and if they named the brake after the claymore, it makes sense, actually.

How about a straight-razor wielding raccoon as a mascot or something? Pick something so unusual and distinct that any effort to copy it will be painfully and embarrassingly obvious. Get Rachel's official approval and I'm sure it'd be an instant hit.

The claymore thing is understandable, AAC didn't invent it. They have a polymer mag, Magpul wasn't the first to make a mag out of plastic, they just got it right. I'm not sure if Magpul has a case here, same with the bolt release thing. I'm not sure if Magpul has a patent on the BAD but they didn't make the extended bolt release. Maybe they can rake Troy over the coals on this but I'm not sure.

The logo thing is just douchey. It would be cool to see patents come through on all that stuff and Troy have to fork over the cash. It's obvious that they're just trying to cash in on other peoples r&d.
