2011 Titan lineup

Post by Conqueror »

Observations/questions:

1) The SS version is now down to the 1.85" diameter... does that mean it is louder than the previous 2" version, as the titanium QD version always has been?
2) No plug welds on the Ti version, looks nice.
3) Is the MSRP of the SS version really down to $1195? And the thread-on Ti model at $1695? Hot damn!

Yes on all three.

The price is lower due to the volume of the military contracts which finally allow for the purchase of materials in large batches and larger runs of parts.

What's the approximate dB difference between the 2" OD and 1.85" OD cans?

According to the web site - DB and Wt information remains the same as the 2" model.

Is there a rough time line for civi sales of the Titan-Ti or the QD version? Or is that question verboten? What would the threading pitch be on either?

It is best to ask a dealer like Major Malfunction.

Sound on the thread-on versions is -38dB, the QD is -32dB.

The core on the thread-ons is essentially the same as last year, with a new profile to the tube.

Yes, the MSRPs are really down to what they are listed at! :D

Have these been tested on any of the ultramags?
