Nighthawk/AAC 1911

Post by ebryant »

I am considering buying a Nighthawk/ AAC 1911 with a threaded barrel that I have seen on the net recently. Does anyone currently own one? If so is it worth the big bucks?

Nighthawk makes a beautiful 1911, and this AAC/NH collaboration is ready for a suppressor. If you really want a high quality 1911, this is the logical way to go. If you were to purchase a non threaded 1911 and then have a threaded barrel installed after the fact, the cost would be substantially higher.

The fact that it has all of our custom features and that it is a limited production gun makes it all that much better.

this NH is very well priced... most of their weapons well exceed the $2500 price tag this one carries... furthermore the match barrel is already threaded, FITTED and test fired (not cheap)... a few other gimmicks makes it a smart buy.

There are not many of these AAC 1911's out there. Jeremy at Bulls-eye is your best source for an in stock model!

They are basically a special order edition. We are setup to produce them and have what we need on hand, so no extended build times or anything like that.
Just call and let me know how many you want

Jeremy at Bulls-eye has them available.

Here is mine in 9mm with TiRant. This pistol was built for the suppressor. It functions flawlessly and is EXTREMELY accurate! Not to mention the weight. its shocking how light the TiRant is.

That's a sweet setup, is that a factory barrel that you had them thread?

I shot an AAC Nighthawk .45 with an AAC Tirant today. It was one of the quietest pistols cans I ever heard. I shot it side by side a Gemtech Tundra, Multimount, an SWR Trident and another random can. The Nighthawk was a work of art. Cycled perfectly with the can. Buy it if you can find one.

Ordered two. One in 9mm and one in 45. I had to wait 4 months on the 45 and 3 months on the 9mm. They are hands-down two of my favorite pistols. The 9mm is the best 9mm I have ever shot, The 45 is on par with my 1996 Kimber Custom Target and I love it. Yes, they are pricey, but I have gotten VERY picky in my collecting habits and these are at the top of the heap. They are affectionately known as the twins:)

What is the standard barrel finish on these? I've seen them both in-the-white as well as blacked out. What would I get if I had my dealer order one through NH?

Standard barrels are black. All the ones I've seen in stock at places have been black. If you were to order one directly from Nighthawk, you could specificy the barrel finish.
