AAC M4200 stuck on Noveske SBR w/ Switchblock

I got my tax stamps yesterday back took new weapon to range now can will not come off. All paint has come off the can also. I shot maybe 250 rounds over the period of an hour. And tips or suggestions?

You are pushing the little ratchet lever while turning, right?

Probably carbon build up, I'd set the upper muzzle down and spray gun scrubber, kroil, clp, whatever down the back of the silencer between the flash hider mount and the silencer. Let it sit for a while and try to loosen it. Also, make sure the ratchet lever it pushed far enough to clear the teeth, if carbon is blocking it from popping up all the way, it obviously won't unscrew.

Oh, make sure you set the muzzle on something to soak up any oil that runs out.
