The "Honey Badger" can, or the 762-SDN-6.
So another new can? What's the deal on it? Does it have a name?

I took that response to mean that the 762 SD N6 is the Honey Badger can. Maybe they will have one labeled Honey Badger sort of like how there is an ACR can which is just an M42000?

No, totally different.

762-SDN-6 is the 762-SDN-6.

Honey Badger can is a shorter, thinner, thread-on different-inside can, specifically for the honey badger. AFAIK.

Will it be rated any differently than the SDN6? How will the materials differ from those of the N6? If it is specifically for the Honey Badger, will you even be able to use it on other platforms, or will it be dedicated (for instance some sort of external threading to the inside of the rail, etc)?

totally difference design from what I saw. It's up to AAC to release specs, but I'm sure it won't be finalized for awhile.

From what I saw, it's a regular 5/8-24 thread, so it should work on anything with those threads.

Intriguing to say the least. Upon further inspection of the Honey Badger, it looks like it would be a royal pain in the badger to manipulate the ratchet on the 762 SD N6 or a 762 SD. Jason, how many cans do you own? If I worked at AAC as long as you did... hahaha...

The can does not work on normal guns. It uses technology we captured from a crashed alien spaceship.

Its not . . . the "honey badger" can is not 5/8-24. Its also specifically built around the 220gr subsonic round.

It was selected for being quietest with the subsonic load, but it works with all ammo.

The honey badger looks great, though I can't say I like the stock.
But...
Am I the only one wanting more info on that (midlength?) URX III?

Is the honey badger with it's dedicated can much quieter than an 8 inch 300 BLK upper with a 762SDN6?

It is both quieter and shorter - two things hard to do at the same time.

Assuming the Honey Badger can hits the market, have the engineers decided what other calibers it might be rated for yet, and if it would be full-auto rated on any caliber? I might be happy losing a little suppression and adding length for the ruggedness of the N6 if it comes down to it, but you've definitely caught my attention.

Also, may I kindly direct those reading this thread to my sig line. Let's show our interest in numbers. 8)

I just still wanna know how much shorter the stock is than a standard carbine receiver extension, and if there's any reliability consequence for going shorter.

Wait a second. Comparing the images of the Honeybadger can from the first series of photos and the new photos with the gun with a flashhider it looks like the can is reflex design?
