It's the thing in the picture that looks like this.

Maybe it's just me, but I see the threads, but no teeth...

Oh wait, are those very tiny teeth at the rear of the device?

I had a feeling someone else would notice this, and that's about all I'm allowed to say...

Alas my lips are sealed until I am told otherwise. I really don't know anything other than what one might be able to guess from the photos.

Its a little different from all the 90 tooth mounts ive currently seen. Im thinking we may have a new mounting system for the 5.56 and 7.62 cans?

There will always be something really cool and new that will come out right after or, more likely, during your BATFE wait.

I hope this is something special, and won't make the 51T mount go the same rout the 18T did. Or at least I can still use my 51T can with this mount.

For real. Just sold an 18 tooth 762SD and I'm 2 months into the wait on a new 762SD-N6, and they pull this on me. More teeth for a tighter lockup and an OpsInc-style ramped collar design. Oh, well...I don't even have a .308 at the moment.

ha, i know, not a gripe at all and I apologize if it came out that way. It was more of a laugh at this whole ATF process than anything else. Personally, I kind of like the allure of the bigger better deal always on the horizon. Keeps the industry moving forward.

Nope, I don't see any teeth on the one in the original pic either. It looked like a toothless blackout but I couldn't find it so I tried to make a funny.

No, there are teeth. There are some other photos of the same mount running around.

So, uhh, how much do you want for your used, out-of-date, old-style mounts?

Someone put there weapon back in the rack still on auto....

It looks like those for ends are monolithic with the upper, am I seeing that correctly? I've been out of the loop for the previous part of this entire year so I'm trying to catch up. Is that an ambidextrous charging handle latch lever as well? I guess they made the change on the upper receiver too for that.

This gun is (was?) LWRC's entry into the Army's Individual Carbine competition. It's up in the air right now wether or not they're actually going to enter.
