yes, the new barrels are fancy, of course my "old" one shoots lights out... but progress marches on.

762-SD discontinued, 18T cans discontinued. 18T mounts still available and still being made, as are MITER mounts.

90T mounts are available as hiders and brakes, I couldn't get any info on BRAKEOUTs.

I have no official word, but most likely yes.

Why would they do that if the new SR5 is 'THE' 223 can now? I would expect them to carry on new products in 51t about as much as they supported 18t. But I have no idea, just a thought. They are making the 51t mini cans, so I guess a very slow roll over to 90t is possible.

Weight on the 300-TM would be a good one to know...

Sill haven't heard if we'll be able to upgrade the M42K 51T to the 90T, anyone else with any RELIABLE info feel free to chime in. I keep looking at the pics of them side by side and can't tell if it's possible.

No. replacing the mount section would destroy the tube.

Removing material there allows it to be added to other spots to increase overall strength.

I would imagine its just a more solid lock up than the 51T, I believe someone stated earlier that it uses finer ACME threads as well.
