Quick Question
For the powers that be, what is the round count that I can expect my M42K to last? If I exceed that round count, can I send it in for servicing? Could I also send it in for servicing just because I want a pro to give it a clean bill of health?
Re: Quick Question
I have seen those "Powers That Be" say that you will shoot out your barrel before you shoot out your can...

Re: Quick Question
I would just like to know a round count and what to look for. As far as barrel life, I am shooting a barrel that should last 20K rounds so does that still count?

Yes. Mag dumps change both those, though.Sleeper362 wrote:I would just like to know a round count and what to look for. As far as barrel life, I am shooting a barrel that should last 20K rounds so does that still count?
Re: Quick Question
It's like those 60,000 mile tires I buy that only seem to last me 35,000 or so miles but my gramma has had the same set for 70,000 miles now.

I am more of a rifleman than a carbine operator, so I think I may be more like the grandma in dubloons description.Unobtanium wrote:Yes. Re: Quick Question
AAC will take care of it if it breaks. Last thing you need to worry about is round count. Buy the can shoot it and have fun.

Re: Quick Question
Already bought it, just dumb questions that pop up while waiting on my stamp.TypeR632 wrote:AAC will take care of it if it breaks. Last thing you need to worry about is round count. Buy the can shoot it and have fun.
Re: Quick Question
Not that dumb of a question... I had the same one. I have a M4-1K. I imagine that the answer is the same for my can...
