I'd take this to mean closer to June 2015 if this is coming from AAC.

Any updates on the Ranger 3? Would be great to see how it performs among the other AAC 5.56 cans. Hopefully the wait won't be much longer.

I'm interested in the Ranger3 as well. Is it possible to order one that's already bored out to a larger caliber? I need a short light thread on can for 6.5 Grendel that doesn't suck or spark. :D
AAC 762-SD, AAC M4-2000 ('06), AAC TiRant 45, Bowers CAC-9, SWR Trident 9, SWR Spectre, YHM Mite....

They definitely won't do a custom bored one.

actually, they haven't even shipped the regular ones, too bad, they seem awesome.

We probably won't get too many answers/updates for awhile since Cade, Brent, Mike, and gang have all left the company.

Maybe Hollister will swoop in and save the day!

I'm also wondering what the status on the Ranger 3 is - I've had 2 on order since early this year, but with employees leaving AAC at an alarming rate, is there anyone left at the company to even make them?

Cancel your order, and buy something else. Maybe ther Ranger 3 will be available about the time they start to market the Ranger 4.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Well frack. Maybe you guys should all get back together and form a new company called "RAAC" ("R" for "really"). Then you could make us stuff and actually deliver it.LOL!

I noticed things are a lot deader around here. I quit coming here for years because this board cost me too much money! Now I come back to scratch another itch and Rome has diminished in my absence.

Maybe call it "MSAD". Making s--t and delivering...

'Hey guys! We've just been acquired by a big bottom-line-focused corporation. Haha! No biggie.'

In retrospect, it was like overhearing a group of high society fellows making jokes about the strained metallic noises and ice chunks aboard the deck of the Titanic.

Whoops. :(

Well, the SR7 is finally shipping, Silencer Shop has them.

Anyone from AAC care to chime in? Not that we'll believe you, but it would be nice to have the company even acknowledge this highly-anticipated product that has been delayed for 3 years.

The Ranger 3 is no longer even shown on AAC's website as of Nov 2014. I hate being so negative towards AAC, they seem good for the community, but this is a strong indication that it will never be produced. Unfortunate, it would have been nice.

Even though this is expected, it is disappointing that AAC lead interested customers on for so long. I made a lot of calls to AAC asking about the Ranger 3 and getting promised it would be "soon" before I canceled my order a year ago. But hey, knowing AAC, they'll come back and say they're working on the Ranger 3 still for the next SHOT Show, only to drag its death out a little longer.

A guy over at m4carbine.net said SilencerShop told him that AAC told them Ranger 3 is canceled.

Can someone from Corporate- I mean Advanced- Armament Company confirm?

Dumb. They cancel this so they can focus on an eccentric Evo 9 that no one will buy?

We learned that silencers should be made from round tubing or else you need more material and hence more weight for any given strength.
