Handi Rifle update

Post by smokey1 »

Anyone have an update regarding the launch of the Handi Rifle? Is this product on hold or moving forward? Which dealers have them on order with AAC?

I would pre-order one, but 'whenever' is too vague for me.

I may have gone on a differect direction by the time the thing appears.

I would like one, though........

I emailed AAC last week and got a quick response. He said they are planning on shipping them out by the end of this month. I pre-ordered mine in March so I'm hoping they dont get pushed back again.

Here is the email:

Thanks for the email and support!

None of the Handi-Rifles have shipped as of yet. According to production, we should have those built and shipping by the end of July if everything goes according to plan. We appreciate your patience and understanding. You will not be disappointed.

I put my eotech from my AR15 on it just to see....yeah...I think I won't be using the scope I bought for it but instead will use a aimpoint micro  And I still plan to SBR this badboy flush with the forearm and thread.

Looking great, but it will be so much sweeter once it's an SBR.

Received my rifle Tuesday from Bullseye....

Added components:

AAC Cyclone suppressor
Bushnell Trophy XLT 1-4 x 24 scope with illuminated 4A reticle (Butler Creek scope caps included)
Burris P.E.P.R. mount with QD throw levers
Uncle Mike’s Hammer Extension for H&R Handi-Rifle
Choate Monte Carlo stock for H&R Handi-Rifle
Allen Company Buttstock Rifle Cartridge Holder
The Original Super Sling 1” wide webbing
T.A.B. Gear SAS 2 suppressor cover

The trigger pull is at 5.5 lbs with zero creep.

The entire package is just under 9 pounds.

You can see what a difference the Choate stock makes...
