Production suspeded

Post by Bark »

I just got of the phone with an ACC dealer who said he just received a letter saying production of all 762 suppressors has been suspended so they can do more research and testing......? Can anyone clarify the situation?

I'm guessing you want an AAC 7.62 suppressor and he has some other companies in stock...

Nope, no hard sell at all, he just said he had bad news for me and the 13 people he has waiting for AAC 762 product.

Sounded funny to me but who knows whats going on at AAC these days, they don't seam to be able to fill any orders. The 4 dealers I have worked with over the last 2 months have all had the same issue 0 avalibility for months before I started looking hard. Seams like the take over by the fredoom group has hurt not helped........maybe Goerge Soros is behind Cerberus after all.............

I have heard that the production of the SR-7 can has been delayed. No big deal though...the SDN6 is a great can too.

We are doing our best to no longer announce things before they are ready.

The 762-SDN-6, Cyclone, and others are the current product, in production, and will be for a long time.

There is no suspention in can production guys. Its a bunch of crap. I just spoke to one of the guys at aac and he said that the production of 762 cans has actually increased. They're putting more then 1000 a month. So before you guys get your panties in a bunch, get good intel, instead of feeding everyone a bunch of bunk.

I even saw someone on AR15 claim that UMC 300 BLK ammunition was not being made. It is being made so fast, and yet demand exceeds supply. Probably one should keep a cache of it to last through hunting season.

I believe the letter to which the OP is referring specifically addresses the SR5 and SR7 suppressors. These are not going to be produced until sometime possibly early next year.

As stated the 762-SDN-6 and M4-2000 are still in production and readily available.

What about the Cyclone? In production?

Yes. The SR5 and SR7 are the only things being pulled at this point. AAC is going to work on the mounting systems a bit more then hit the market with these. The Cyclone is fine for now and is a great product.

When was the last time anything shipped out from AAC? I have been told a few different excuses for different products not being available to ship, while being assured that production continues to increase.

Has AAC stopped shipping product all together?
