I sent an email to Fiocchi USA about when they plan to make more of the 9APE 9mm 158gr. round and this is the crap they sent me back. I was like, how hard is it to get up with Fiocchi of Italy and order some. The folks running the US branch are a bunch of IMBECILES.
Dated 2/17/14
The bullets for our 9APE comes from our parent company in Italy and when we have them, we load them Ozark. However, we haven't received any bullets for quite some time and we don't have any expectations when we will receive any from Italy.
Unfortunately, we just don't have an answer for you at this time.

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
Why don't you e-mail Fiocchi headquarters in Europe and apprise them of the much larger potential market size for 158 gr 9mm loaded ammo in the USA than they previously thought, since they are the only ones manufacturing it? Many people in the USA shoot 9mm with suppressors and their 158gr loads are perfect for that market.
Your e-mail to Fiocchi headquarters could light a fire under them to exploit this niche in 9mm ammo. Also suggest that sale of 158gr 9mm bullets as components for reloaders could also be a substantial market for them too, since they own the niche.
Graf's has had 158gr bullets in stock for reloaders (.355 for 9mm) made by Prvi Partisan, up until this last week. If you reload, then you might login with Graf's and click on the link to be notified when they get their next shipment in.

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
I just head back from Fiocchi about the 9APE and this was the response. So by the looks of it none will be available until some time in 2015. All I can say is the US part of the company is run by a bunch of idiots to let a backlog of this magnitude happen.

Roll your own.
Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
Production of specialty ammo at the moment is nonexistent. Those who even know that 158gr 9mm ammo exist are pretty much just here in these forums....which is what, some small fraction of 1% of all shooters in the entire country? Boy they sound awesome through a wet can though!
Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
I bought a roll sizer for 9mm and it works great to take 150-180 gr .357 to 9mm spec. I know there is only a couple tho but cuts down on fowling and build up.

Gone, but found some 147 grain at a good price: https://www.laxammo.com/ammunition/9mm- ... apd/30-423johndoe3 wrote:Graf's has Fiocchi 158gr FMJ 9mm ammo in stock right now. Item #: FC9APE

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
The 147 grain stuff from Fiocchi I bought was NOT subsonic. I am not sure they have two separate loads or not . But they where not subsonic out of a UZI and HD9mm suppressor. They definitely where not out of my colt 9mm AR.
Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
Thanks for the link, ordered 10 boxes. Only 16 left in stock!

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update
I bought some of the Grafs stuff as well as some of Midway's.
I received the Grafs shipment the other day and the lot number just happens to be lower than a few boxes I bought about 2 or 3 years ago. It's obviously old stock, which is OK. I'm just curious whether Midway's new arrival is also old stock and where this stuff has been all this time...

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
