I cant figure out how to get my hands on a model 12! I am in Pittsburgh, PA. If anyone can lend me a little direction, I would very much appreciate it.

Try John at Pennsylvania Defense Consultants (PDC)

Looks like he has one in stock.

That's where I got mine.

Does the 12th come with the brake and collar or is that separate?

It should come with the brake and collar. All the Ops cans I have all came with a brake and collar.

My .30 cal. 12th model did not come with a collar.

I called Ron and told him how my rifle was set up and he sent me the proper collar.

My 3rd. Model .30 Ops Inc. silencer did not come with a break and collar. I sent the bolt action rifle barrel to Mr. Allen and he created the threading and collar detail within the barrel for me.

Read the link you provided a little more closely-he's talking about an AR15/M16 where the barrel isn't heavy enough to do have a collar machined in.

Your bolt rifles barrel is heavy enough to where no fitting or collar needs to be attached.
