The other hobby.

Post by k31user »

In my quest to be able to get suppressors down to UPS and FedEx as fast as possible I decided a couple of years ago to start souping up the delivery vehicle(my old 1992 4wd Dodge pickup). Finally broke the 1000hp mark earlier this month. Made 1057 rwhp and will be going to the track on the 27th for another trip down the 1/4 mile. Don't want to be late to FedEx if I can help it.

This is from last year when it was around 860hp.

Hoping to see 10.6-10.8 @132 or so. It actually is my pick up and delivery vehicle(and my firewood fetching vehicle, hay hauler, portable shooting rest, etc).

Oh snap, that is really awesome! Reminds me of my supercharged 93 Mustang Cobra. It was fun but didn't last long, motor let go after about 4 months. I went back to naturally aspirated. It has been the one and only car I have ever owned. I kid folks all the time that it is my coffin. I'll drive it until I die if I can...LOL

outstanding. at some point are you going to end up going fast enough to mess with the space/time continuum and end up at the the delivery place before you've actually left your house

Actually, I drive kind of slow most of the time. It's just been fun to tinker with.

I took part of the day off Saturday to go to a dyno event. Won a trophy and a nice little cash prize for this diesel only run.

It's fun, but it is getting a little out of hand.
