KAC Triple Tap

Post by Raptor0683 »

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have ANY leads on Triple Taps? I'd love to find two, but would be ecstatic to even get ahold of one at this point. These were hard enough to get in the past and I know they're virtually unobtanium now, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

They pop up on ar15.com from time to time. A new one sold on eBay last week for 650. I'm always lookin for these as well. I know a guy who has one that he'll sell with a NT4 can if you're interested.

That's actually why I'm wanting to get a couple. I've finally decided to pull the trigger on an NT4. I used to have an SR-15 E3 IWS, but sold it and now have the Mod 1. I'd like to be able to put a 3T on my Colt SBR as well so I can run the NT4 on it too, but I'd be happy just to get it for the Mod 1. I'm guessing his 3T and NT4 are used? If you don't mind, maybe you could PM the details and what he's asking if you know?

If I can't get a 3T, I may look at a MAMS for my SR-25 ECR, but I'd rather start with the 5.56.

...Pm'd the info...
Have you ever thought about running a KAC QDC 7.62 on your ECR and on 5.56 hosts?

Sorry cal, I forgot to reply to this. Life got busy. I actually found a couple 3T's, so good to go there. There's one on GB right now (not mine) if anyone else is looking. Unfortunately, the one place I had found an NT4 is out of stock now, so I guess I'll be waiting a bit longer on that. I've never really considered running a 7.62 can on a 5.56, but I know a lot of people do it. I am thinking about getting a 7.62 QDC for the ECR at some point though.
