Are these avaliable to the civilian market? If so where and how much?

Snap-on? I thought it was a permanent mod to the frame. Either way, I would love to get my hands on one. Maybe enough could be drummed up around here to warrant a small run? :D

The slide lock is a permanent mod to the frame of the pistol. When this was in production it came from Knights with a modified Beretta pistol and a Snap-on suppressor. If you can find one and have the funds availible, get it. This is as quiet as it gets on a center fire pistol.

To my knowledge this was never sold in a kit form . Do you know the history of this kit? I have been wrong before but I thought all snap-ons were produced with pistols only.
We have a small number of snap-ons availible (not enough to satisfy the market)and I am working on a fair way to decide who should get them. I am tossing the idea of a lottery around. We have some parts in inventory and we will do a run after we get some of the other things we need to do done.

I just need the slide lock.

I would be up for a Hush puppy too, but there is an SWR Trident waiting for me at my dealer now. I didn't even know Hush puppies could still be had until I found this section of the board. I wanted the full package real bad, but gave up years ago, because I was told back then I couldn't redo the wipes myself. Now I know better, but I already bought a Trident.

I would VERY MUCH love to get the slide lock as a kit though. Any chance on purchasing those parts seperately? :)

Cutting the notch in the slide requires a pretty high level of "gun-smithing" . These pistols packages are comparable to a Mk-23 and silencer package in price. I feel the snap-on is as if not more desirable than a Mk-23 package. even though KAC products cost more they tend to hold there value ;especially silencers.

I hope I didn't offend.

I agree with you totally, I simply don't have the same budget now (Insert wife and kids) :? that I had when I originally found out about your package ('96-'97?). I use lots of Knight parts on AR builds etc.

I already have a Beretta M9, and I have a Trident awaiting transfer. I would gladly pay to have a slidelock installed, or barring that, I'd gladly purchase the parts for the slide lock and hold Knight's blameless for the end result of my using self/aftermarket installation. I love KAC gear! I just can't always afford the whole monty. :)

I understand completely .I have two kids too. No offense taken. You can't eat guns. You would have to buy something ridiculous for your wife to work up that kind of "credit". I think that is one of the great things about ARs is that you can do it a little at a time.

Well see... I'm kind of trying to do that with an M9.... An M9 here, a suppressor there, and then... maybe a slide lock?....

I'm going to BUMP this out of oblivion...

Any status change on the possibility of selling them again, either as a complete gun, or kit?

I don't have a M9 or want one.

But if you do this slide lock, I'll buy one.

TIA.
