Does anyone know the inside diameter of a KAC FF Rail?

Post by Rob »

I want to swap my crappy YHM FF rail that came on my Spike's upper for a KAC FF rail. The goal is for my Bowers CAC-9 to become my dedicated Spike's upper suppressor once I get the mount swapped for .5x28.

Does anyone either know what the KAC inside diameter is, or whether or not a CAC9 will fit? I know that the Bowers can will fit under the YHM rail, but I hate it and want the Knight's rail if it is compatible.

Also, I want my SR-15 and NT4!!

Thanks,
Rob

I'd like to know too. Not sure of the OD of your can in question, but YHM has one of the largest IDs at 1.75". I doubt the KAC will be that big.

That chart leads me to believe that it won't work. Probably not even close. Does anyone have a final answer?

About 1 3/8" is the inside diameter. The 9mm navy can barely fits. These rails are being discontinued to go to the URX but they will most likely keep the rifle length in production because it is used on the Mk-12. They do have a number of diff. models in stock.
