Lawman's had two left in stock a few years back, it was not a special order. Base rifle and I had to add the rest.

I actually lusted after an SR-15 Match years ago, but never was able to get one. So I went out to try to build my own, and it sort of went the route of "sorta Mk12 SPR Match" type thing. . . so if you guys feel this doesn't belong, please delete my post :)

Briggs, you are a lucky guy. I literally missed my chance by two days to get one :(

My rifle is on the right, the gf's is on the left.

Only things not KAC on the gun are the gas block, collar and suppressor, barrel, grip, scope and stock. She's definitely a shooter, and loves the heavier ammo as well :D

Had Gemtech cut and thread the bbl to 18" and a bi-lock installed; wearing a M4-96D in the picture. The SS bbl was hit with GunKote. The rifle now wears a VLTOR E-MOD buttstock. Very accurate rifle - esp loves the BH 77Grn. I was lucky enough to have that UNS for a few weeks for T&E, but had to give it back....

FYI I bought mine from Cal's Sporting Armory in late 2003 for $1500.

Thanks Viper. I appreciate the offer!!! My father, spent 6 yrs in the Navy as a photographer (late 50's to early 60's) and has been a hardcore photographer (and shooter!!!) since. He made the transition to digital quite easily some years back. So, I asked him if we could use his studio to shoot some photo's of the super sweet Knights Armament gear we've accumulated over the years. He loved the idea, so we're slowly getting set up (in between our day jobs, families, etc..).

The only thing I'm changing (or adding if you will) is an Ops Inc brake and collar. I want to keep the rifle as authentic to "as issued" as possible is my reasoning for going the Ops route. I have a few "projects" on the drawing board with Kevin O'neil/ AJ Brown currently, so its a no brainer for me who will be doing the install.

So keep your eyes peeled fella's. We're going to putting out some nice "eye-candy" in the near future for your enjoyment!!!!

This was my SR15 Match. Hands down the one rifle I have sold that wish I had never let go. :( Kick myself in my ass everytime I think about it.
