MD Rail Hand Stop

Post by Ryo »

3,
I was wondering if you are still planning to make hand stops for the MD rail available to us. I'm totally in on getting one or two of them. I'm willing to beta test them as well.

Thanks.

Was wondering the same thing. Saw them elsewhere and immediately wanted one to add to the Xmas Cheer rail.

From what I heard, Casey said they were in the pipeline, and when they are finally available the Christmas cheer people would get first dibs. Of course, naturally, there are only going to be enough to supply the demand from the OG and few other random owners of that rail.

I too would love one, but for the time being i just mounted the MOE rail piece and the normal KAC handstop.

Are there any pics of the the Magpul handstop or is it just the KAC one reworked for the Magpul URX?

I haven't seen one yet, not sure if one exists yet. I just heard about them possibly being made. It's suppose to work with the Magpul URX rail if I understood correctly. I hate to add a rail just to add a handstop.

They look like a standard handstop, just made out of Delrin, and attaches with a vertical screw. If I dig back through my photos I believe I have a photo of the one on the slick railed SR-25 from October's class.

I saw pictures, I think on M4C, of someone with one on a .308 but I wouldn't know where to begin to look for them now.

The Army is looking to move to the ACS stock on the M110 as part of the potential PIP.
It was the favorite of their user jury, however they needed a method to mount their current inservice sling, as well as a way to mount a monopod or tripod mount to the stock.

Kevin, how much does that rifle weigh, minus the scope, mag and swivels?

So is this the official version of the military M110 carbine? That thing is badass!

It was one of the inconel Super Tap's we produced, we found that with actual shooter the Super Tap did not perform like it did in recoil testing, so it that program was cancelled.

Gear Sector has some really neat hand stops. Looking at getting one soon. I'm not sure about the LaRue ones though. There doesn't seem to be any screw holding them in place. I wonder if they'll stay in place.

What we're looking for is the hand stop that KAC designed just for these rail-less FF tubes.

We are doing a run of 400 of these handstops.

The MD rail Handstop is slightly different than the URXIII Handstop in that the screw is a different type -- the MD rail cut is thinner than the URXIII hole.
