What is a "N6REC"

Post by win912 »

This ia a quiz question. I wish a had a lot to offer...but all I can offer up is a 7.62 Vortex from a FN FAL for someone willing to answer this question here....

There is a story to this "N6REC" which I accidently discovered yesterday doing business with another KAC fan who drove up from CT.

I love KAC, I collect KAC, and at times I get frustrated.... :|

N6 is Novekse's 7.62mm guns, generally based on AR10 platforms, but he has made some SR-25 related items in the past.
I know Jim Smith (Spartan Tactical) has a Novekse barrel in his SR-25 Battle Rifle.

You need to find a donor "barrel extension" from someplace. I wish you the best of luck. Truely I do... I have only found two over the past 10 years. Basically you got to buy an SR25 strip it down and sell the parts individually...and keep the parts that you want for your own project.

I was too poor from saving money for the wedding and other marital expenses...so I built a "Poor Man's EMC"

In all, it cost me just over $2000. Big kudos to KevinB for the URX install.

It was a fun build. But if I wasn't getting married, I would have gotten an EMC.
