Again, no problem either way. I'll probably sent mine to Neil at Gun Gallery if the latter.
For me I bought a URX wrench. They are cheaper now than when it first came out. You can probably get it for under a $100 if they are in stock. I like doing work on my own stuff so this works out great.

I won't be able to post my proof of life photo until next week (working out of town), but rest assured I have all the parts. Thank you so much to Trey and everyone who made this happen.

I'm an original lunchbox OG. I have all of the original parts. Just moved into a new house and will try and get my " proof of life" photo up as soon as possible. Still got some unpacking to do. As in the past "count me in".

Decided to go with the iPad theme like everyone else. So I get zero points for originality.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW THIS.........
please keep in mind that these rails are not standard rails. if you are not a trained/experienced gunsmith, please do not attempt to do the install yourself. it would be a shame if the wrench slipped, and snapped your new rail.
if you have someone that can do the install please post it, so that the people who dont can contact you.
people helping people, its a beautiful thing

To elaborate a little on what Troy said in his previous post about the need for an experienced gunsmith doing the installs on the LW URX. Those rails were designed to be as light as possible and due to this they have a potential to be tweaked if too much incorrect pressure is applied when mounting the barrel nut. So it is recommended that these builds be sent off to gunsmiths with experience mounting our URX systems.

Are you saying not to go over the 55 ft lbs?

I just installed my first one and it went relatively well. I can't imagine someone breaking one (at least on an install) without a lot of "hold my beer" moments during the process.

Looks like Troy is going off the original list Casey had. Looking forward to getting one of these barrels.

Just curious, who's the manufacturer for the barrels? Obermeyer?
